Power Big Meet

This Power Big Meet in Vasteras, Sweden. Does not need any introduction to quite a few of you. But for those that haven't heard of it. This is one of the ultimate car experiences anywhere. Period. Its a show devoted to American cars. People travel from all over the world to attend this show, invariably when you attend once, you are hooked and return every year. I spoke to quite a few people who had attended every year for over 15 years and these were people from outside of Sweden.
Back to the cars, name a car from the 1950s and 1960s and there is a good chance there was one in attendance. The show is strong on 1950s and 1960s American metal with many cars also from the surrounding decades. Over 13,000 showcars, yes thats right 13,000 cars were counted into the show over the 3 days that the show runs.

The atmosphere at the show is fantastic, during the day there is plenty to look at on the show field. Then from early evening, people cruise around a 5 mile circuit, which for me was the hi-light. It was just great fun and gave people a real opportunity to show their cars and see others in motion. Which is really what its all about.

Given the crowds of tens of thousands of people who attend, the organisers and local council do a truly amazing job. Its just something that you need to experience for yourself.
